NCTCUG and WACUG |
WACUG and NCTCUG are presenting Intel's Build-Your-Own Computer Seminar at meetings during November and December. The meetings are planned so that members of either group with scheduling conflicts have alternative dates to attend a session offered by the other group.
Session Descriptions:
Part I: Addresses "Why Build Your Own Computer?", "Where to Buy Parts?" and the considerations involved in choosing the various components and technologies. During this BYO Seminar, audience members will be introduced to the opportunity to customize, purchase and build a state-of-the-art, high-performance, high-value PC from specially-priced components.
Part II: The BYO Workshop will provide participants the opportunity to build their own computer, using the parts they've ordered, under the direction of a workshop leader. A script and a PowerPoint slide show simplifies the task for both workshop leader and participants alike by taking them through the process of building a computer step by step with tested, on-screen, projected instructions and pictures of the process of building a PC.
Download the Build Session disclaimer PDF file. Must be signed, dated, and returned to session leader by any participant of a Part II session building a computer.
