Battle for Wesnoth - v0.6.99.4. Free GNU General Public License source code by David White et al. and Debian and RPM executable packages (older versions). Battle for Wesnoth is a fantasy turn-based strategy game. Battle for control of villages, using variety of units which have advantages and disadvantages in different types of terrains and against different types of attacks. Units gain experience and advance levels, and are carried over from one scenario to the next campaign.

Darik's Boot and Nuke - v1.0.1/v1.0.2. Free GNU General Public License 1.44MB disk image by Darik Horn. Darik's Boot and Nuke ("DBAN") is a self-contained boot floppy that securely wipes the hard disks of most computers. DBAN will automatically and completely delete the contents of any hard disk that it can detect, which makes it an appropriate utility for bulk or emergency data destruction. Mozilla Firefox, previously named Mozilla Firebird, is a free, open-source web browser for Windows, Linux and MacOS X and is based on the Mozilla codebase. It is small, fast and easy to use, and offers many advantages over Internet Explorer, such as the ability to block pop-up windows.

Mozilla Thunderbird - v0.5. Free Mozilla Public License source code and exectuble by the Mozilla Project Team. Mozilla Thunderbird is a total redesign of the Mozilla mail component to produce a cross-platform, stand-alone mail application using the XUL user interface language. It has many new features, among them the ability to customize your toolbars the way you want them. a new look and feel with a large number of downloadable themes which alter the appearance of the client, and the ability to add UI extensions.
